The Wise Musician Podcast - Where Do Songs Come From?

Last month, I sat down with musician and educator @nickakdag, the curator behind my favourite music resource on Instagram, @wise_musician. We had a thoughtful conversation about my new album Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, the upcoming feature film project @khula.aakash, and the quieter parts of the creative journey that don’t always get talked about.

We spoke about growing up in a deeply musical family, how legacy and culture have shaped me, and how I continue finding my own voice as an artist. I also shared how play keeps my creativity alive, how I approach live performance, and why caring for my mental, physical, and spiritual health has become essential to making honest art and staying connected to the source of all ideas.

This conversation felt grounding and real..the kind of connection I find myself craving more and more these days. If you’re curious about the process behind the music, you can listen to the full podcast here:
