013 Bidai

This song is a tribute to the love and unspoken bond between a daughter and her home. It captures the ache of distance, the warmth of memories, and the longing to return to the embrace that never stops waiting. As I sing “Bidai” with my mother, I think of these cherished photographs—my first day of school, captured with my beautiful parents, Hari Tamang and Susan Maskey. These moments, frozen in time, hold the roots of who I am.  It’s from them that my brother and I carry our last name, Tamang-Maskey, a reflection of their love and their journey together—39 years and counting this month. Happy Anniversary Mama, Baba ♡.
